Terms of service
These terms of service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GGun LLC ("we", "us", or "our") for the BadHabits Bank mobile application for Android and iOS (the "App").
Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App
BadHabits Bank is a self-control and habit-tracking app. You define your own habits, activities, values, and accounts. You can use the built-in fictional currencies or create your own.
The App keeps the records you create on your device. It does not require a user account, and it has no backend that stores those records.
Fictional money
Balances, accounts, transactions, and currencies in the App are fictional. They have no cash value. They cannot be cashed out or moved as real money.
The App is not a bank, financial service, payment service, gambling product, or financial-advice product. Nothing in the App is financial, legal, or other professional advice.
Eligibility
The App is not directed to children under 13. You may use the App only if you are able to agree to these Terms.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the App. You agree that you will:
- Use the App for your own habit tracking.
- Not treat it as a real-money account, payment method, or gambling service.
- Not interfere with the App, attempt to break it, or misuse the support channel.
- Follow the laws that apply to you.
Local data, backups, and device loss
Records you create stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. We cannot restore records that exist only on your device.
You may export a backup file. That export is a separate file, and it does not remove the records from the App. You are responsible for protecting exported backup files, including where you store them and who can open them. If your device is lost, damaged, replaced, or erased, or if you delete the App's data without a backup you can restore, those records may be gone.
Privacy
Our Privacy policy describes how the App handles information. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are covered there. These Terms do not change that policy.
App stores and third-party services
The App is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores' terms also apply to the download and to your store account. GGun LLC operates the App. Apple and Google do not.
The App uses third-party services described in the Privacy policy, including Google Firebase. Those providers' own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
Optional advertising and purchases
These Terms apply whether or not the App offers optional advertising or an optional in-app purchase, such as a purchase to remove advertising. Nothing here requires those features to be offered.
If advertising or an in-app purchase is offered, the Apple App Store or Google Play handles billing. Any refund or restoration of a purchase is handled by that store under its own policies. These Terms do not set a price or a separate refund policy.
Intellectual property
The App, including its name, design, and our other content, belongs to GGun LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer that ownership to you. You keep the records you create in the App.
Feedback
If you send us product suggestions, we may use them to improve the App. We have no obligation to use them or pay you for them.
Availability, updates, and stopping the App
We may change, limit, or stop the App or any feature, and we may provide updates through the app stores. We do not promise that every feature will remain available, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the App. Provisions that by their nature should continue — including fictional money, privacy, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limits on liability — still apply.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, GGun LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and disclaims any warranty that the App will be accurate, reliable, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GGun LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. This includes loss of records stored only on your device.
These Terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the App after an update, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the App.
